Transformation and Sustainability in Action: Sokoto State’s 2025 Budget

The Sokoto State Government, under the leadership of Governor Hon. Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto FCNA, remains steadfast in addressing critical needs and fostering sustainable development.

This year, the 2025 budget focuses on Housing and Security, two pivotal areas for the state citizens’ well-being:

Housing

– Construction of 1,000 new houses to reduce housing deficits across the state.

– Development of 137 Federal Government housing units to complement state efforts in providing affordable homes.

Security

– Provision of 130 patrol vehicles, 700 motorcycles and 40 vehicles for Community Security Guards, ensuring grassroots safety and a secure Sokoto for all.
