Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Sokoto State, Kickstarts 2-Day Mock Exercise for the 4th NG-CARES IVA Assessment.

The Honorable Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Sokoto State, Hon. Dr. Abubakar M. Zayyana, PhD, CNA, FHEA, CMgr, has officially launched a 2-day mock exercise in preparation for the upcoming Independent Verification Agent (IVA) assessment of the 4th NG-CARES initiative.

The exercise, held at Shukura Hotel, Sokoto, aims to ensure optimal success by equipping the team with the necessary strategies and tools to address challenges and deliver outstanding results.

NG-CARES continues to positively impact the lives of hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries across Sokoto State, including farmers, small and medium enterprises, cash transfer recipients, livelihoods programs, and vulnerable and disabled individuals.

During the session, the Commissioner listened attentively to the team as they presented their achievements, challenges, and proposed mitigation strategies. This proactive approach emphasizes the state government’s commitment to addressing issues effectively and ensuring the program’s continued success in uplifting the most vulnerable in our society.

With a focus on preparation and collaboration, Sokoto State is steadfast in its resolve to make this upcoming IVA exercise a resounding success.
