International Cooperation Department
Our Functions
The International Cooperation Department coordinates all development partnerships between Sokoto State and international organizations. It serves as the primary liaison for agencies such as UNICEF, UNFPA, UNDP, and USAID, ensuring alignment between donor interventions and the State’s development priorities.
The Department also facilitates the design, negotiation, and implementation of international cooperation agreements. It ensures transparency, tracks donor-funded projects, and promotes sustainable partnerships that support the State’s economic and social development goals.
