Planning Department
Our Functions
The Planning Department is responsible for coordinating the formulation of development plans and policies for Sokoto State. It works with MDAs to ensure that plans are aligned with national frameworks and the long-term goals of the State Government.
The Department also monitors the implementation of economic and social development programs. It provides technical support on project planning, advises on resource allocation, and ensures that policies are evidence-based and responsive to the State’s developmental needs.
