Budget Department
Our Functions
The Budget Department is responsible for preparing the State’s annual budget in collaboration with all MDAs. It ensures the budget aligns with government priorities and oversees the printing and distribution of the final document to all relevant agencies.
The Department also collects monthly expenditure reports from MDAs to track compliance. It conducts quarterly checks on votes and cash books to ensure proper financial management and adherence to approved budgets.
